The three Blue Jackets were among 36 players named by the League on Saturday. Six rookies also were chosen to participate in the 2015 Honda NHL All-Star Skills Competition. The All-Star Game will be played Jan. 25 at Nationwide Arena (5 p.m. ET; NBCSN, CBC, TVA Sports). Teams will be selected at the 2015 NHL All-Star Fantasy Draft presented by DraftKings on Jan. 23 (8 p.m. ET; NBCSN, SN, TVA Sports). The two captains who will pick the teams will be announced next week. The Stanley Cup champion Los Angeles Kings will be represented by forward Anze Kopitar and defenseman Drew Doughty. The Philadelphia Flyers (Claude Giroux, Jakub Voracek), Pittsburgh Penguins (Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin) and Tampa Bay Lightning (Tyler Johnson, Steven Stamkos) each had two forwards selected. Former Blue Jackets forward Rick Nash, who played in five All-Star Games for Columbus, will represent the New York Rangers. St. Louis Blues defenseman Kevin Shattenkirk and forward Vladimir Tarasenko each will make his first All-Star Game appearance, as will Nashville Predators goalie Pekka Rinne, whose teammate, defenseman Shea Weber, was selected for the fourth time. Washington Capitals forward Alex Ovechkin was chosen for the sixth time. Gstank29
Fans around the NHL know the Sedin’s are done. Wake up Vancouver. nothing they can do. Trading the Sedins is 14 million in cap space or 1/5 of the cap. No one will be able to take them

Borvat
The Sedin's are not done. It's just that they aren't "skill" players. They cycle and play a cerebral game. It's not that much fun to watch until they score and they don't score off the rush which is also more exciting to watch.
DeNiro
Fans around the NHL know the Sedin’s are done. Wake up Vancouver. You mean they're not ageless? What does "wake up" even mean? Trade them? That's not happening, take your head out of your a$$. Congratulations to Vrbata on his first all star game. Benning knew how underrated this guy was. Lancaster
Even when the Sedins were in their prime, they barely made the All-Star teams. Only after winning the Art Ross', then people realized.... "oh hey, they're actually relatively decent...."

Ossi Vaananen
Thought Miller might make it. If the NHL can appreciate defense then Tanev should be in. Good for Vrbata though!

Jaimito
Good for V. Let the rest of the team rest up. It's a joke that entire starting line up from Hawks was voted in by fans.
Gstank29
You would have to invite both sedins if you invited one. To many other deserving players this year
Rounoush
Don't feel too bad fellow Vancouver fans. Anaheim is first in the NHL and only Getzlaf is representing, Montreal only has Price and so on and so on.

JE14
Fans around the NHL know the Sedin’s are done. Wake up Vancouver. It's a good thing that only one player made it. Means the rest of the players will get the time off with their families instead of participating in a pointless event.
