Oh my Boeser with that unfair of a shot!

On a side note, that UND commentator is gold. Sportsnet needs to sign him. He'll be better than some of the scrubs they have lol

How about for Canucks radio?  I can't imagine having to listen to the Hansen of broadcasting Jon Abbott for an entire game.

@suitup I'd throw Stecher into that group as well, probably Gudbranson too- that's how he's billed to be, at least. From Juolevi's comments at the WJC and Brisebois (should he make the NHL) being a captain at such a young age hopefully we see them hit that level someday too.

Doesn't get much love but Gauncer is quite down to earth too.

No doubt. Gaunce is a wonderful young man with exceptional character. Not always obvious because he can be quite reserved in public, but he's just a quality individual, a dedicated teammate, and has  some very strong leadership qualities.

Also doesn't help that in many of his photos, he kinda looks like what you'd get if Patrick Bateman was a Potterhead. ;)

Next time you feel like falling asleep during a Canuck game here is a little motivation for the future:

thanks for that! that was something special and hope that he locks up a contract after his year ends at ND. the kid is a pure sniper and great defensively also. hope he continues to do well at ND for the time being

Anyone thinking Granlund (if he gets back to being a C) might actually end up a better center for him?  Crafty playmaker who's also a threat with his own shot.

Anything is possible. Granlund is showing good progress.

Nevertheless, Boeser might be turn out to be the best Canucks first round pick taken outside the Top 10/15 since Cory Schneider and best forward taken in the latter part of the first round since Kesler. His maturity is as great as his ability.

Granlund has a LOT of work to do on faceoffs if he ever wants to get back to centre.

Both him and Baer are adept at playmaking from the wing though. So I'm sure something will work out with Bo or Granlund or a yet to be determined C.

Jost is out so they've got Boeser playing Centre tonight which is interesting. No points through 2 which is predictable in a new spot but it's good news they trust him enough to give him that defensive role.

UND trailing 2-0 almost through 2 though

Boeser goes 16-5 from the dot!  Hybrid Center on our hands?

Also took some draws on Friday as well. Went 8-5.
