Utica is gonna be a different team next year

That is quite normal at the AHL level unfortunately. They're gonna have a good core of returning players though.

Connolly should be given every chance to earn a spot, his career has been somewhat stalled so far.

indeed. Defazio, Ericsson, BoSang, Cal O'Reilly, Conacher, Corrado, Markstrom, Clendening, Baertschi, possibly Friesen, Grenier and Virtanen all gone.

Wow.

That will hurt us. A lot.

Those were just the ones off the top of my head, there were more besides. The Comets will be radically different in all positions.

You'll get to like the new guys pretty quick I think.

Incoming are Cassels, Subban, Hutton, Labate, Fox, Blomstrand, Valk, Jones, Fedun, Cracknell, Cederholm, McEneny, and Bachman. Lots of skill and grit mixed in there to replace what was lost.

They may not win their conference again, but they should be a playoff team.

Cracknell, when did the Canucks or Comets sign Adam Cracknell?
