It's funny when I say something outrageously stupid it's a battle between good and evil. Recently this happened I can't remember what the comment was but I ended up with like a -6 after +15 upvotes. He is a project, has always been a project and will continue to be a project. Either he learns to play D in the next couple years (which by all accounts he continues to both need work on and has improved) and adds that to his impressive offensive game or he doesn't and is a career AHL'er. Nobody here is going to argue the kid is a Norris candidate based on D alone. IF He can get his D level on the same level as Barrie or Krug Then we have a guy who can truly score from the backend along with Stetcher. I still think Edler will benefit playing with a guy like troy and if JS can become Barrie level, not a far stretch. IT will also allow the Canucks to unload Tanev plus if needed to get a real top 6 winger this club needs. Top 4 of Edler- Stetcher - Guddy -Hutton is pretty good with the bottom being Tram and js JS or Sbisa and JS, and I'm not talking about this year. tho I would move on Tanev if the perfect deal came along.
