That said the need is not for a top 4 dman it is for a upside prospect or draft pick. Hamhuis's injury simply accelerates the drift down to where the Canucks should finish the season. In my earlier post I said if "Carolina is that desperate," in reference to the article which is saying they'd move a prospect just to move Skinner's contract.
