Thought Megna, LaBate and Chaput looked strong and fast tonight. They pressured well and created chances. Certainly were not a weak point tonight. Edler...WD need to realize that he is not the offensive juggernaut he believes him to be. The guy has a hand-eye coordination problem and he only scores on the 1 in 20 shots that get through because the goalie is totally not expecting the shot. Stecher is a far better puck mover/shooter. I would like to see Hutton out with Stecher in a situation like that where you need to take risk to tie it up. They can both move the puck by skating it and/or passing while Edler basically just hangs no and then shoots it at the pads. Can't blame Miller but as noted above, Niemi was better. I think Chaput has got to have sealed himself a permanent spot for now at least—he's got lots of upside, plus he can win faceoffs, something we've been sadly missing since the departure of Manny.
