Speaking as someone who has 2 (who are 3 and 5, respectively), there are a lot of benefits. For one, your lifestyle doesn't change much, as you already have no life. And now that they are a little older and more self-sufficient, they play together, which gives you a break, and it's good for their social development. However, it's still twice as much work. And especially when they're still young and need lots of individual attention, as parents you no longer can simply "trade off". So yeah, not exactly easy. As for @wallstreetamigo... I do not envy you or your poor wife. lol EDIT: although I do see the upside too, don't get me wrong....my poor neighbour has 5 girls plus his wife all under one small roof...hahaha.....when his wife answered the door once I asked if her mom was home...honestly thought it was one of the teenage daughters...she was complemented..he was all "oh don't encourage her".
