Lines in warm-up:

Roussel-Horvat-MacEwen
Leivo-Pettersson-Boeser
Goldobin-Granlund-Virtanen
Eriksson-Beagle-Motte

Tanev-Gudbranson
Hutton-Stecher
Pouliot-Biega

DiPietro

Wow. Talk about trial by fire for our rookies. May as well have worked Brise in there too, just really rattle us.

No pressure eh... San Jose is an easy team right... Dipietro. MacEwan. Pffft, no biggie!

I'm really excited to see this. Hoping the kids crush it

Should take good note of this, considering Green has always wanted to have players in a practice or two before throwing them in.  Not just here as a reward or experience, but he's going in.

Finally we are at the point we've all been waiting for -- the influx of developing prospects.  We have Gaudette who will almost certainly return this year, plus Hughes who will be here in a month's time, then more to come next September and possibly even something at the TDL.  Exciting times, this team is going to get VERY young.

All I can say is "wow" usually we watch our prospects watch the game. Then they work into 3 minute roles! I Think this could add some sand paper and honesty to the other teams. Pests don't like 6'2 monsters who can skate!

No matter the outcome in tonights game, it will be a great test/experience for Dipietro. If he lets in a bunch of goals or not it will NOT shape his future career. The kid is 19, he will make some saves. I hope he stays composed and doesn't move around too much in goal.

More importantly....lets hope the entire team realizes they have a teenager in net and all play a good defensive game to SUPPORT him!!

Personally, I love seeing him get into a game, lots of buzz about it for sure!
