Lamoriello trying his best to make sure Canada doesn't win it. Would have loved to have Dobson back this year, he would be gunning for revenge after that shot went off his stick last year. Setting that aside it looks like it will be a really good one this year, only thing that makes me really nervous is Canada's goaltending. Hoping one of these guys steps up and surprises me though.

Forgot about the Dobson play. Wonder if maybe he took some heat for that (social media warriors) and he decided he's done with the junior play and wants to focus on the next step in his career. Lou Lam might just be protecting his young player in that sense,. It who knows.

I have kinda soured on the WJC. The young kids from Canada are more prone to less team play. The media can hardly let them get off the ice before sticking a mic in their faces and start telling them how good they are. Their all generational talents! Hear that line enough and young kids begin to believe it.

A day after being cut by Team Canada, Benoit-Olivier Groulx has been traded from the Halifax Mooseheads to the Moncton Wildcats in exchange for a 2021 1st round pick, 2020 2nd round pick and a 2022 2nd round pick.

Quite the eventful weekend for him

Credit to the Capitals for drafting McMichael. He's looking like a hell of a prospect and made the team over Newhook.

Putting up INSANE numbers in the OHL this year. Not much hype yet but he can emerge a star out of this tournament.

He was a definite steal, should've went higher in the draft.

He'll be ready to slot in as a top 6 C for Washington around when Backstrom's 35 and needs fewer minutes.
