Green: “Okay guys we played well in that period, now let’s sit back and defend our lead”

Team: “what’s the strategy coach”

Green: “Defending well”

Haha wow, are you hating on Green again?
We just played a great first period.
Good job buddy, why don't you just pick a different team to cheer for then?

Bo just isn’t an aggressive player by nature. Unfortunately, with his size and strength, it’s not hard to imagine the possibilities of how much of a physical force he could be if he utilized his physical gifts.

Should emulate Miller.

We'll see when he benches Virtanen for no reason and puts Leivo on the first again, after two gorgeous giveaways in our zone.

Pretty much what Virtanen has done (extrapolated)

Exactly my point. Hopefully Virtanens trajectory continues to improve rather than staying the same like Kassian.

Also, saying Kassian's career year this season is not on account of playing with McDavid and Dri is laughable. It's all due to playing with those two. First off he's picking up a ton of assists thanks to them, and secondly when you have those two as linemates you find yourself with a lot of open ice because the opposition are double and triple teaming those guys.

Makes sense... if I watched him play from Twitter

26, 19, and 24 points over the last 3 seasons are solid numbers for a 4th liner. This year is an anomaly for the aforementioned reason.

Bo's everything for this team right now, he's got much bigger responsibilities then running the other team with big hits.  We need him as our one and only shutdown guy, to take key faceoffs and to play on our PP.

He went up against Darnell Nurse and acquitted himself quite well, so it’s there. Then again, he and Nurse are friends.

Its true.   Miller is a pro who knows when and how much aggression is needed in situations. Sometimes it needs more, sometimes ya skate away. Bo has to learn to recognize the times that require a more physical response., especially wearing the C

Leivo's been really bad in the first period.

Virtanen had the 3rd most ice time out of any wingers last game.  Green's been giving him ice time when he's playing well.
