Highly doubt it as he's on a one way.

One way and two way contracts have no bearing on the waiver requirement.  A player on a 2 way contract gets paid less in the minors. If it’s a 1 way contract they get their NHL in the minors. That’s literally the only difference.

Weird how he loves the vets on bottom 6 but he's willing to throw Rathbone into the fire when he's not ready... That's on D of all positions... Smh.. 

I'm a huge Rathbone fan and think he had top 4 upside but this is dumb...

Doesn't a 1 way need waivers a 2 way is exempt?
