It's just a game , but they noticed me being negative, and my son said " dad, I thought this was ur team, why are you mad at them? They look sad. That's not going to help them dad". Lol Sometimes kids help put small things into perspective that can effect bigger things in our lives. These dudes know they aren't good enough right now . At least there own fans can root for them to win. Really great post. Thanks for sharing that. 2

Popular Post Patel Bure
A journey of a 1000 miles begins with a single step. We moved forward 125 miles tonight in terms of getting back in the playoff race. Down but not out. Onto the next game. 3

aznmonk
GoTime to plan the parade down on Robson...next win will be huge 4 points from hawks... we need to win every team that is below us to squeeze into the playoffs

If the refs had called that interference penalty on Dickinson the Canucks probably lose. 2

Don't mean to be a downer but i think it's too soon to celebrate for this team. Gonna need to assess the next 10 games to see whether or not this is all has been just a "funk" or if this team is really is just a below-average team. Found a party pooper.

We see the team as a fire tire, and we're like "start over. sell everything." Players on the team see this as an opportunity to fight back, push back, compete, and climb out of the hole they dug themselves in. They're not mathematically out of the playoffs.....yet. And I think once that happens, they'll continue to compete.

Popular Post fanfor42
Obviously Garland Demko and OEL had good games tonight but I thought Petey played well and man Podz showed that he is coming on! 10 1
Popular Post Maginator
Great win. Leaky at times and towards the end, but I'm confident going forwards that our passive dzone structure will improve. IMO I thought Petey looked better. I only noticed him fall once, and that was from the hit by Stanley. Also, he did well carrying the puck in as opposed to dumping it in. Hopefully Brock gets things going. He was close to getting a breakaway - and if he scores there it's a different game for him. He'll pot one and get his confidence back. Even though I didn't love his game, it will be nice when Hamonic can travel with the club. Some negatives (Hughes, Brock, collapsing at times) - but more positives (OEL, Garland, Burroughs, Demko, discipline).. and that's the difference. Loved Burroughs' game today. Takes the body whenever possible, and you love to see him get his first off Schmidt. Onto the next one! 1
