Im thinking peteys like little elf has a magic stick and he asked Mr elf to make him one for Christmas.... so Mr. Elf made him one and he scores on a shootout with a forsberg!  I'm going for a petey hatty... can't wait till media ask a couple of stupid questions and he giving them the stare down!!!!! Hopefully it be tonite!

Have you played EA NHL series?

Ever played GM? You make moves. Build what you think is a good core. Then continue to tinker and make some trades too many?

That's partly the problem with Benning. The other issue is coaching I didn't think used the players and prospects to their strengths.

Bruce is not just a coach, he's a teacher. This team has really needed someone to help the players improve.

Combination of bad coaching, and poor player management.

This will be a true test to see how the team handles a very good high end team.

You forgot also father figure!!!

No doubt

He even pissed off seasoned vets

"We don't know what we're doing!?" JT Miller

Rumors of a rift between Bo and JT when now they seem like tight bros.

We will never know

We will never know is correct.

Curious what's your source on your claim that FA fired TG and not JB

I must have missed that factual tid bit

What really bothers me is that it took so long for the people who are really supposed to know (Benning and company) to see green was no good.

That's really incomprehensible to me. ??????

Yeah and us fans were so patient hoping every game was a new game.... until..... the jersey thrown on the ice.... icing on the cake...

They were both fired within hours of each other.

To Me it seemed like it was all ownership but you're right I don't have a source. It just seems highly likely

Last night was a pretty good result for us around the NHL.

Ducks, Flames and Oilers lost in regulation. Sharks also beat the Stars in regulation (only 2 pt game for conference rivals).

The only bad one was that Kings beat the Wild in regulation.

Yeah that was great and hopefully nucks win the week in regulation...I don't know if Coach BB has any more of his magical juice left... lots of players are stepping up to the plate on our 3 game winning streak.. so hopefully Pearson, horvat, petey,Hughes, Miller get a couple of bounces tonite! High flying game.

Canucks 7- hurricane 4

With the same roster! May I add those previous games we should win 10-10 games under green. But we manage to lose them, because green is a pylon.. like his days as a hockey player... as for coach BB he was all offense... so he wants his players to play what they are meant to be..

Scorers shoot and score

Defense defend and hurt

They all have a purpose!!!!!

In green he plays them all the same.... not a recipe for success..

Tonite if nucks fire on all cylinder and minimize those previous small mistakes I believe we can take on anyone.  Especially if the opponent thinks cruising into our building is a easy win think again cause this wave is contagious!!!

Agreed

BB has created a more dynamic team which means there more ways to win

my biggest take away though is how much improved the defensive structure has been. Less shots against, less scoring chances and less turnovers exiting the zone

Your still living in the past man

Great players? Who are these great players JB waived? If you mean ZMac Gadj JChat (FA) then take a look at Thier stats

Without doing anything? What does that even mean?

What's your source for FA firing Green?

Yes, ZMac and Gadj are -7-8  so far , but we've got to the point when we've got nobody in Abby to challenge Chaisson for the roster spot. This is sad, really
