[Trade] Canucks trade Tyler Motte to Rangers for 2023 4th-round pick

I thought Lockwood should have made the team out of camp. Hitters change momentum in games and we finally had a few in Motte, Schenn and Lockwood.

I agree Lockwood had a very solid camp, definitely outplayed Chiasson, but it made sense on the healthy team to have Chiasson playing 13th forward and Lockwood getting TOI in Abby. If it wasn't for his injury this year, I think we would've seen him earlier.

Perhaps Motte was one of the main pistons powering the energy of the Canucks…

But we needed the fourth round pick acquired for Motte, so we could use our own third to buy Dermott.  We really needed a 25 year old, fully developed, (at best) fringe LHD.  It’s not like we had a super prospect LHD in Abbotsford or anything.

Yet people had a whole laundry list of trades to do at this last trade deadline.

I love how they stand up for their teammates

That was a clean hit.  Bum to shoulder.  Do we know f Motte came back?  The penalty should be Pittsburgh 11.  He destroyed a Ranger immediately after the Motte play.

Dan Rosen tweeted that the Rangers specifically mentioned that it's not his head.  Gallant hinting at a shoulder injury.

Apr. 2021 - Missed three games due to a concussion.

Nov. 2021 - Missed 15 games due to a neck injury.

When you play with reckless abandon you are going to get injured.  That guy is a fkn warrior/

Thanks.  First compliment I have received for it.  I don't even recall what year I made it.
Made me curious.  Searched my files and I did it April 5 2007.  It's not perfect but shrunken down it looks good.

Love Motter, but I guess this is expected based on his injury history.

Now I wouldn't be surprised to see Tanev injured for the Flames too

Hey man, don't you put that voodoo on Tanev, he may be a Flame but he deserves to be healthy at long last
