Doubt it have anything to do with fatigue look at markstroms game log vs edmonton as a flame.. he's been lit up 9 out of the 13 regular season game since joining the Flames..  and not much better when he was in vancouver.. Flames are prolly better off going to their other goalie.. Edmonton owns markstrom

Vladar?

Yah, he’s competent & the extra-adrenaline might even give him an edge over Marky.

I dunno anything over markstrom against edmonton Calgary would have to score avg 4-5 goals per game to win.. as markstrom gaa avg vs edmonton is well over 3 in his career against them

I agree about Tanev being missing X-factor in this game, as he was for the Canucks. Canucks haven’t replaced him. He’s a clear #1.

Maybe he’s not a sharp-shooter, but for defensive smarts, positioning, blocking-out, breaking-out, reading plays, shot-blocking, threading wrist shots through traffic, he’s solid & so under-rated.

Benning’s blunder.

And Tanev is seriously injured at a key part of the season - again.

Yes, we were stupid to let him go, though.

^Got to get into the play-offs.

Tanev makes his teammates better.

Tanev is calm. Tanev teaches. For a young team developing good habits & new chemistry with a lot of young D-men, he should have been a keeper.
