I thought so too but the puck went into the Oilers zone of the AVs player while another player was still in the zone, that player got out before the first player entered the zone and touched the puck, as much as I hate it, it was the right call.

I'm not watching the Canadian feed, see what they say in intermission.  The US feed has a NHL ex ref explaining it.

The replay clearly showed him touch the puck in the neutral, meaning he had control. The fact that he didn't touch it again until his teammate cleared the zone should be irrelevant.

He already had the puck before hand. Definitely was in control. Puck wasn't going up ice incidentally.

 

I guess the way Makar is skating quickly aids him in that it wasn't on his stick despite being in control of it, but that's pretty wild.
