Defense hasn't been the issue in the last two games though

It has not been bad, but what are the forwards being asked to do, to help out more?

I do agree, it doesn't look to be the problem

Special teams are the problem right now, but I wonder about the above question

And I still think there is a big leadership void

Only been two games but the absence of Tyler Myers is felt. I wouldn't exactly call him a tough guy or a goon but he brings a level of accountability

that is very much needed on this team.

Yep, was typing this earlier but abandoned the comment (because I talk too much at times).

He was #2 in hits for us last year and a physical game is important. (Just discovered that Schenn was #2 overall in the league...love that guy). Myers also blocks shots and that matters too...an extra big body out there getting in the way.

Gross. Move Horvat to PP2 and put Pod in the 1 spot.

I hate the 1-3-1 PP. Way too many SHG.

2-2-1 with 2 D men, just need 1 with a bomb or move Petey to the point.

Pod

Miller - Kuz

Hughes - Petey

Pearson

Horvat - Garland

OEL - Boeser

I just don't understand how our guys have no compete to start to the season, after all the talk of being ready and hungry yada yada.

Watching a bunch of passengers again is an upsetting way to start the season.

Shouldnt come as a surprise, it's how they played the pre-season

Wonder what would happen if we went 0-5 to start the season? And then win 10-0? Do we chalk it up to bad start as a signature of the team? Or is it a sign that the individuals on the team, though good on their own, aren't good together?

Based on past history viewings. It seems like the individuals are not suited well together. But whatever. Story of the Canucks. Never great and never good
