BB won’t get us anything, he is negative value.

True.  But if Garland keeps playing well we might be able to dumperoo him for cap space and the trade Bo for a Hughes’ partner?  Clearly staying the course (current group) isn’t going to work.

Miller plays both. Do u not remember the lotto line? Miller never played centre here until BB started coaching.

The best games in the last half of last season were when Miller and Petey were split up.

Those two centres need to stay split up in order give the team the best two scoring lines possible.

Who would the 2nd Center be if Petey and Miller were put together?

Horvat?

C’mon man. Horvat is playing so disinterested. That’s the second line Center?

Doesn’t work for me. But maybe I’m wrong and you’re right. Let’s see.

It would work if we had a 3C.

Who’s that bud?

Lazar?

We have 4 decent centres.

The team needs to build around them.

And it’s not the team’s Centers that are the biggest issues.

It’s D-Corps.

And culture of being passive and not ‘hard’ to play against.

It’s a ‘weak’ team overall. There’s no body checking or physicality, aside from the 4th line.

It’s just a bunch or guys who don’t want to lay it out.

It’s not even close to what we all expect.

Even the Sedins are probably thinking, ‘Man up and stop being such pussies’.

Starting to wonder if Bo wants to be here anymore.

Can not have been easy, year after year of disappointment.

Then he finally gets a top line winger in Brock, to help he and Pearson put up some points as the number one line.

A year later, Brock goes on Petey's line, never to really return.

Heck Brock has probably now played more with Miller than he ever did with Bo?

Takse all the important face offs, then mostly skate off the ice, right away.

Then get your actual shift. I swear 2 or 3 minutes per game of this guy's ice time is strictly for faceoffs.

Bo has played with Garland the most who is our best winger with actual first line metrics while playing on PP1. Podkolzin is no slouch and super talented.

Bo's metrics have stayed the same whether he's played with middle six players or top line talent.

Let's stop blaming Bo's teammates for his production or happiness.

Miller is playing with 2 pylons. Even McDavid would have problems getting points with them.

He’s not going from 99 points to only 60 points. Boudreau will likely put him with Podkolzin and Garland next game and let BO skate with the pylons.

Hmmm, and here I was told we have the best offensive depth in the league.

We just signed him a few months ago, and he's already untradable.  lol

Of all the players talked about trading, Boeser for me was the one I think other teams might have given inflated value to, for what he brings. As a talented forward, who is not a C, he would have been most expendable, especially after signing Kuz.

I get your thoughts.

We simply don’t have it.

The priority is on D other than another forward.

Thats my point and I think the underlying deficiency.

Just my opinion of course and as valid as yours my friend.

I expect Boester to get it going. Needs linemates that can help him do so.

Again, I don’t think the forwards are the issue. Goaltending is not the issue.

The issue is on D.

Other than Hughes, the whole D has small D energy. Flaccid as f***.
