Ownership and management have been so tone deaf to their fans for the last decade why would anyone be surprised?

Even the players say they love them so they don’t even wear them once the following season?

We are pathetic. I want to buy a EP or Bedard ( hehe ) jersey... I want to spend money at games... but I'm not because they don't deserve it. I gave away tickets the other week ( good ones on a Saturday as well ) because I refuse to support how we treat our fanbase and quite honestly the players as well

Yes because i'm mad. Pettersson puts the team on his back, begins to rack up powerplay goals and hits a new level with Horvat and some miller bounceback and somehow our d and goaltending get better. Incredibly unlikely.

You must take these! My supply, unfortunately, has run out.

Ouch. Miller was touted as being part of one of the deepest center groups in the NHL, and now he's on the wing centered by essentially an AHL player. How the mighty have fallen.

This feels like the equivalent of being a healthy scratch.

Though in fairness - Dries has put up decent numbers. Under 10 mins of ice time average, 4 goals/4 assists in 20 games. On pace for 15-16 goals over a full season with that limited time is... not half bad.

That's fair, Dries is taking advantage of this opportunity. I don't think he cracks a good NHL roster though.

Don’t let Hef see this or we will all suffer.
He’s right though,

Honestly if they don’t see that this is the perfect time for a rebuild then they’re blind.

This team is not competing in the next two years. The real estate market and the Canadian dollar is down and we’re heading into a recession. Why would they wanna keep spending so much money for a losing product?

Tank hard and clear cap for the next two years and rebuild around a young core with lots of cap space to add the right pieces at the right time. Keep a couple vets like Bo and Schenn around and ship out the rest.

Agreed. I think the Canucks will see a severe drop in attendance if ownership and management make more myopic moves to try and compete now, when it's clear as day that this team is broken and has a few high paid passengers.

Trying to remember.

When did an actual tank happen?

It was for Mario right?

Hockey minds?....I dont feel like looking it up.

The McDavid draft.

Buffalo went full tank- to the point of trading their #1 goalie, who was playing so well, he was winning them games.
