Hopefully after this road trip we'll be "thoroughly' out of the playoffs once and for all and any illusion of grandeur will be put to rest and the Tear-down can begin in earnest!

Feels like fans have been saying this for months now. First it’s let’s see after 10 games… 20 games…Thanksgiving… Christmas break. Now we’re pressing half a season and still no idea what direction this team is taking.

Benning single handedly put this franchise years behind, this is a great lesson why teams should be very careful with their GMs and monitor them closely because a Rouge GM can cost you millions in lost revenue and reputation.

IMHAO our owner was pushing Benning to make “win now” trades.  Nonis, Gillis, and Linden all eventually refused.  And they all got canned.  I sure wish BennI got would have refused before making that OEL Trade.  That hurt us a lot.

How is it possible that a team has so many all stars like Jets do? Morissey, Wheeler, Shieflee, Conor, Du bois, Hellebuyck etc insane line up $ for $ same cost as the Canucks roaster but way superior how is that possible to build a team this well

they are noticeably faster on the wings & play with better structure. Morrissey is also a more reliable #1D than Hughes (atleast this season)
