I can tell you are tough. Skidsteer out door types often are.

How tough was your oponent though?

And really? you think your a better fighter now than when you were 30? ....you know age can sometimes effect your memoryB)

I had knife pulled on me drivin cab shortly after  I stopped driving truck. He took a swift one in the marbles and two to the nose. It was over. And yes it’s been years since I got into it but power behind blows increases at least for me.   Shorty after all that I was at joes place and showed him my knuckles. :P

I'm stronger now at 48. Hit the gym 6 days a week and I run ( gonna do a marathon this year) ...I timber frame as my job..

all of it hard.

I would get smoked by my 32 year old 30 pounds less muscle self though.

tick tock

Yea but you already admitted that you were training as a boxer during that time. So yea it stands to reason that you’d be a better fighter then…

It’s not like Miller is training as a fighter on his workout days. He rarely fights and that’s essentially the only time he practices.

You can’t compare that to the experience of being in hundreds of fights.

he's a good wrassler too.

he's actaully doing good things for the fighting world. Has won me over.

It's not a good comparison to our discussion though

It shows the gap in their experience. So yes it is a good example.

Inexperience and overeagnerness can often be a younger guys downfall.

Youre acting like a 58 year old can barely hold up their arms anymore.

Besides my love of fighting/training. I worked DT Van nightclubs for 15 years.

I have seen more fist fights than most, by a landslide.

There are some real killers out there. Of all ages.

We should move on from this convo though for the sake of the thread.

To give your side of  the arguement props...My buddy, ex-marine and also Thai fighter is now a CO in the Vic prison. At 52 he was the top of all gaurds in his fitness testing.

Lots of love for Bruce tonight, I have a feeling it might be his last game. Win or lose. I'll be leaving as a fan as well if that does happen. I can't begin to say how much I hate this management..Humanity first! The recent Bruce interviews choked me up...

I wish we could get Linden back and fire this group..They gave Bruce a screw driver while every other team has power tools and expect him to compete. Eff off.

Good for you man.

I gotta say though...did he even fight you or did yoru finish him before he threw...due to his very rude behaviour with a blade?

I think it's because he ran a small sports book 15 years ago that he admitted to.

And 15 years ago it was a no no... Now we can't go a commercial break or boards advertisement without sportsbooks being shoved down our throats... So maybe a little hypocrisy?

It kind of feels like a fix and a henhouse situation

Yup. I could shoulder press 100lb dumbbells for sets back in my 30’s. I hurt now just thinking of that. All I can do is 65’s now

I'm going to be working out later tonight while watching my friend's band. Doing one arm curls with Keith's IPA ... great thing is, they get lighter the more I do.

Yeah Tocchet said he was teaching a drill and he absolutely flattened OEL  LOL

OEL got extremely pissed off and was cussing at Rick. Rick said he has a habit of getting too into in these drills

Well he shouldn't let a 55 year old cream him.   Good grief.

My wussy ( not at all) ex-logger of a nephew-in-law is too scared to do it.

Gonna have to pay someone ....or I'm gonna bring our mini excavator over and try to push it off...

i dont wanna pay.

Yes, expensive and have to make positively sure faller is insured up to the eyeballs and has WCB coverage. Word of mouth not sufficient, need to see documents. An accident on your property could ruin you financially for life.

Having only seen one photo I’m wondering if there is a solid fir you could rig it back towards to take some weight and then desl with the tree it’s hung up in.
