Not likely, imo.

I can see them preparing the roster for after the all star break. Perhaps clearing some roster spots.

Pederson IMO is a lot better than most guys we have on the bottom 6.

His interview being moved to after post game on a Friday is weird. Something brewing?

Today is spa day.  Moving it to post game gives him more time to soak in the mineral pools and eat some tapas.

Why not just send down Phil Di Giuseppe instead? He wouldn’t require waivers.

Di Giuseppe he earned a call up.

I don’t think they’re too worried about Pederson getting claimed. Players like that go on waivers all the time. Especially leading up to the trade deadline.

Better at what?

He's certainly not better than Joshua or lazar.  Dries?  Maybe and I would have been happy to see them give him a shot a 3C over Dries, but it's probably a lateral move.

Dries, Studnicka, Lazar, for sure.

Lazar is not as good as you think he is.

Slim/small chance is still not zero - and given he's been kind of the bonus piece of the Bear trade, and actually worked out qutie well for his time in the AHL (and to a certain extent while he was called up), knowing Canuck luck, that non-zero chance will likely screw us.  :sadno:

Agreed and I'm not sure why the kept him past the exemption window
