There were many, many, many fans that supported Bo throughout his career and still supported him when he was traded. For him to take a shot at this fanbase includes taking a shot at those that were always on "his side". Can you honestly think of any other former captain of a team that went on to another team and took a public verbal shot back at the previous team's fanbase? Sad to say this club hasn’t missed a beat since. I find his remarks pretty candid but could come across as a joking “parting shot”. But, I also hear some resentment though, as the panel indicated.
