What a farce with Miller. He was clearly "injured" for purposes of a trade. This management group is trying to trade two players they didn't have to sign to new deals at all. What exactly is the plan in place? Is AILvn just winging it here?

I think our owner has his snout into hockey ops.

Just want the team to lose every remaining game. So looking forward to the win 13 of 14 to drop down the draft like every other year.

Maybe Miller is a last minute scratch because he’s being traded? Lost Bo and we got better. Loose Miller and e will get worse.

Well, never know. Maybe getting Miller into the lineup tonight is letting other GMs know he's healthy and he's playing. Other GMs might not like him playing if they wanted him tomorrow, risking injury. Perhaps Miller gets pulled from the lineup at the last minute. Dries fills in.  :frantic:

Miller gets scratched last minute and a trade sending him to Carolina for Kotkaniemi is announced following tonight’s win.
Alf’s empties have spoken.

Pittsburgh trade was close involving Miller. Miller listed “week to week” (even though he finished fine in Boston) to avoid the media shitstorm if scratched for TRR. The deal gets botched. Pitts goes for option B and get Granlund. Miller “recovers” and is now a game time decision. Miller is now confirmed into the line up.

My hunch

Holy F’n shyte.
The guy we just got, who we shouldn’t have got, is injured too!?!
This management is completely out to lunch.

I remember the 90s.

Keenan and Messier.  That was awful.
The garbage years in the 2000s.
Obviously the years prior to me…..

This has been the hardest time to continue to support the team.
This team STILL after a decade of bullshit, has no direction.  No real plan.
How many times do we trade away top picks for reclamations, hopefuls, just pooh in hopes that a quick fix will take us back to 2011.
It’s like they forgot the majority of the difference makers were home grown!
Sedins, burrows, kesler, Bieksa.
we drafted and developed them.
Stamkos, Toews, Kane, Bergeron, poughty, quick, kopitar, ratboy.

Yzerman robbed old Dim Jim 2.0

Not saying Hronek won’t be good, he just isn’t what we need and we overpaid big time.
SY sold high on him big time.

What kind of team in the bottom 5 of the league sells 1st rounders?   It’s insane!

Anyway.
Go Canucks Go or some dumb crap like that.
