Dubas did a good job this year.  Will he get fired anyway. 
He had a good deadline though may have done too much. 
He didn’t buy into Campbell who Edmonton already regrets.

Dubas is one of the most elite GMs in NHL, the fact that people are trying to trash him is unreal. He is one of the youngest GMs in sports and has so much responsibility in a mega market like Toronto and is handling it like a boss.

 

It's incredible demanding to be in Toronto and he did a fantastic job building the team and finding value. He is making Toronto owners a lot of money as the team is entertaining year after year, playoffs is hard sure but the fact remains that Toronto has the highest revenues in the league and winning the cup is a bonus secondary only to keep racking in money.

The Canucks were mugged by the Bruins for seven games and most of Canada were cheering for the Bruins. ESPECIALLY Toronto and Edmonton fans. We don’t forget that.
