Three years have passed since the last rock paper scissors tournament and it is now time to crown a new champion.

Without further ado,

Welcome to CDC's rock, paper, scissors tournament 2023! I'll be your host for the game.

How to play:

General:
Rock beats scissors
Scissors beats paper
Paper beats rock
 

How to play the tournament:
I will create PM's with all the participants. The participants then have 1 day/24 hours to submit their actions.(Subject to change)
You will submit a list of 3 actions(Rock, paper, scissors) in the order you choose. Your opponent(Chosen at random) will then have their actions lined up against yours in a best of 3 battle for supremacy.

Example:
User 'Time Lord' submits "Rock, paper, rock"
User 'Aladeen', his opponent has chosen "Paper, Scissors, Scissors"
Aladeen would win the battle 2-1 and advance to the next round.

 

If the actions end in a tie, the person who won the last one wins. Since there is a time limit on CDCs final days, the person who submitted their DM first will win a tie otherwise, there will be no redo if the first tiebreaker does not solve things. It would be preferred if all users who join can have the time to submit their set of 3 actions once a day, but if not, you may submit actions ahead of time.

OKAY WE'LL START

HERE ARE THE MATCHUPS:

 

Simply DM me your three combinations of RPS (ie: rock, rock, paper). This will be stacked up first to last against your opponent.

 

To avoid giving anyone a slight advantage now, the round will start at 9AM PST on 9/19 (tomorrow).

You may send your combinations now, in case of tiebreaker, any combinations before 9AM will be considered to have a 9AM start and beat anyone who submits after. If there happens to be a tiebreaker needed in round 1 between two early submitting parties, whoever submitted before but closer to 9AM will win. This strictly applies to round one since you guys were not aware it would start.

 

Once the game is on, always be on the lookout as timeliness could (but probably won't!) be a deciding factor.
