He released details of the booth trade significantly earlier than anyone else on the Internet. I'm not a huge fan of every thread he makes, but he does a lot of Internet research and reports any pertainant rumors or news immediately, which is a main reason I come to CDC every day. There is nothing in this tread that disproves his rumor and Burke is the type of guy to not want to announce a trade til after the scf out of principle. I see Luongo going to Toronto, but I don't have fancy insiders, TSN has seemed to be behind the ball a bit these days so I won read too much into it. That samjam or whatever he calls himself has seem to made calls before anyone about the Canucks and the Hockey Widow has being reporting this as well, those two seem to be more bang on with the Canucks at least lately. Samjam has been an integral part of these boards posting tribute videos and news articles within seconds of there arrival on tsn not to mention all the other sites. He had early news of the Toronto tampering story a few years back and even got some recognition by the sun or star if I'm not mistaken. Then he was bragging on CDC last year when the booth trade happened. I looked on his Facebook because his name is easy enough to find of you look and was able to see the status and time where he updated all 3 players in the trade. This was about 30 mins before anyone else got to it. I don't know how someone could be a regular here for a few years and not know samjam.... To Florida: Luongo + Raymond + 4th To Vancouver: Campbell + Howden Edler - Campbell Hamhuis - Bieksa Tanev - Ballard Not sure if that fits under the cap but that defense is amazing.
