I'd think he'd at least go for the K, hopefully tearing up a league will be good for his confidence and development.

Traitor!!

Now we can't say that we're the only team without a player overseas. Thanks alot Dale.

Seriously though, guys like him who make alot less money need to earn a paycheck. I mean, how can a person survive on 600k a year? After taxes, insurance, and escrow payments, he probably only takes home like 350k. That's insanity, how's he supposed to feed his kids?

In the last year I have seen Weiss literally 3 times per week in Yaletown when the team is in town. He is a real socialite and parties with expensive women.

Good for Dale! Those Dannish women are hot. With a name like Weise I wonder if he has family over there. Maybe he is exploring his roots, so to speak.

Did he take them to arbitration?

Kesler was lucky to score 20 this year since the injury to Morrison allowed him to do so.

I doubt Kesler would ever break 15 goals in his career again.

I am Dutch, but this league is terrible. He will look like Sedin, compared to the rest of them.

He needs a paycheck, but it will not be à big one overhere.
Anyway I think i will check in at a game in Tilburg.

Oh...in the Netherlands are not many Dannish women. Dutch women are more common to come by ;-)

Meh, don't really care. At least he won't sit around getting rusty. Even though I personally don't want him on the team.

To address an earlier poster, the girls Dale parties with are rugged and weathered. But then again, look at Dale.

Maybe in this league he will learn how to use his offensive skills more. We've seen glimpses, maybe this is just what he needs.

Oh c'mon it's not TERRIBLE, but, no, it's not an elite league for sure. However it IS a great way to stay in shape and actually play some games without getting into too much of a hyper competitive situation. And, yes, he may well turn into an offensive juggernaut over there and, hey, how could that hurt him confidence wise. A smart move sez I.

There's a reason Wiese went to a no-name (or close to it) pro-league.

When he called the SEL, they laughed and hung up.

Just jokes, good luck Dale
