R3aL
Isles have an abundance of assets that we could work with, viable trading partners, excitingly bright future new arena, owners willing to spend more offered harmonic and vanek big money, I think they will become an attractive destination compared to years past. I just cant see us trading the sedins tho, and I cant see them trading tavares and eklund is a goof But Sedins and a throw in for Tavares and Pulock and a pick or something like that would be crazy, Id prolly be in a level of shock worthy of hospitalization

Batmania
First of all it's Eklund, second of all the Sedins don't get you even close to Tavares, dream on. Going the exact opposite direction is just as bad as over valuing players.
westcoast
As unlikely as this is,it would only make sense to NYI if the were wanting to make a push upwards with Tavares. It would have to be something like Reinhart and the pick so their team would have not lost anything. Carl's Jn
For what its worth, our resident Numpty Eklund is saying Isles looking for a splash at the draft and prior to the move to Brooklyn and are interested in the Sedins... Interesting... http://www.hockeybuzz.com/blog/Eklund/Islanders-interest-in-Sedins--Byfuglien-Leafs-interest-in-Spezza/1/59174 relax ... will never happen. sedins are canucks for life! Frazzy Desjardins
I find it even more ridiculous how many people think the twins could land Tavares plus blue chips and picks
goblix
Would rather to see sedins finish their career here, so many magic moments would feel dirty if they left on such terms.
JeremyCuddles
No, I still think Henrik Sedin is an elite 1st line centre, while Daniel is an average first line winger. How are 2 1st liners not worth at least Tavares? Do you over value his age or something? Sedins are worth at least a Tavares and 1st. They'd wreck the east and Tavares likely gets injured after 5-6 games.
D-Money
Is it just me, or did Eklund just hit an all-time low? I mean, usually he makes it at least SOUND reasonable.
fagin
Why would the Sedins waive to go to the Islanders? Maybe they see how they can help this team if the Isles are offering up a phenomenal package and agree, but if there's any truth to this it'd likely be the Isles thinking they can lowball an offer in and get them after an off season. Buuuut would Kesler waive to go there???? He would if his option was the bench
Canuck Surfer
To New York Daniel and Henrik Sedin To Vancouver The Islanders Plus one!
Me_
The Islanders would love Kesler on their 2nd line, great 2-way center that can keep up with their offensive prospects. I don't want Kesler to leave though lol. Been wanting Kesler traded for a few years now. Yesterday, in the game that mattered most, he showed his true nature most: dangling through an entire team only to lose the puck instead of pass to his wings that we're skating hard to the net. So he doesn't pass and his wings just skate around. Trade him.
Me_
He would if his option was the bench GM: Hey Ryan how's it going? KESLER: who are you. Did you find me a winger yet? GM: about that. Yes we did. His name is Kane in Chicago. I just need you to sign this fax I'm sending you.
pianoman13
I dont see it being Sedins for Taveres but; 1. Rumour however real or not is Tavares is unhappy 2. Sedins would be much more effective in the east 3. Very similar to my argument about Lou being traded there (made many moons ago), walking into Brooklyn, NYR backyard, they need 'names' to sell, don't discount this. 4. However, if it were to happen, reallistically I would think NYI would want the Sedins as a second line to take pressure of Tavares (keep him as well). There is little 'hockey sense' behind trading a very young superstar for 2 aging ones 5. Sedins and Hansen for Strome, Martin, Reinhart, and their first? NYI takes nothing off their roster other than Martin, Nucks take alot of salary away and have rebuilt in one year.... not so unbelievable, clearly the twins would have to accept it but anyone who says players cant be traded wasn't alive when Wayne was traded... 6. Then sign Callahan Burrows Kelser KassianCallahan Strome JensenHiggins Santorelli BoothMartin Richardson Mattias Hammer / BieksaEdler / TanevReinhart / StantonCorrado Buyout GarrisonBuyout Garrison?? Are you serious?? I was with you till there, but Im sorry the rest loses credibility now for suggesting that lol.
Me_
With the hiring of Linden, forget about any trade involving most players, specifically the Sedins since Linden was traded himself. Unfortunately.
Outsiders
Sedins will never be traded if they were they wouldnt get Tavares. if it did snow much have had 10 to many beers. If the sedins were to be traded it would be a total REBUILD coming back would be Islanders 1st this year. Cause the sedins and tavares could get u in the playoffs SO To Van - Strome,1st 2014,Pulock,2nd round 2015 To NYI sedins Id drive them to the airports buy them a beer for the road feel sorry for them for about 5 mins then go buy myself a stanley cup ring Horvat Shink kass jensen strome pulock drisalatl gaunce corrado tanev
higgyfan
With the hiring of Linden, forget about any trade involving most players, specifically the Sedins since Linden was traded himself. Unfortunately. I don't know...he's in a different capacity now. IMO a competitive guy like Trevor will do anything to make the team better. He came ridiculously close to winning the SC and this is one more chance for him. I don't think he trades the Sedins though. Really don't think they would waive their contracts. The Stork
How about not trading the Sedins and trade Kesler and Edler instead Kesler +1st rounder for Tavares watch Snow bite into this deal
