Jiggs50
Kyle with the 3 point night. Seems like he played with mcdavid a little bit. Good to see!
on the cycle
Buried by depth. He is a strong skater, drives the net, and is good defensively. He's listed at 6'4" but he may well end up being 6'5" and he's about 200lbs but he looks lean he'll probably end up being around 220lbs or more. Derp...
Well he's on a really good team so it's hard to say how much offense he is driving, but I can understand why they took him. Playing against McDavid and Strome in practice all the time will probably make you a pretty decent Defensive forward, and to boot he's bumped his numbers up a fair bit this year as well. There were more flashy picks available, but he was a second rounder in the OHL which is pretty high, so there's probably some offensive upside there as well. Stoked for him to get on the score sheet though, must feel good to contribute.

His offensive numbers will explode next year, very toolsy; he could end up being a 5 tool guy in a 3rd line role. I think he will really show his ability in the AHL. I'm glad they picked him he's definitely a gem in the rough. Being a 6th round pick you can't expect him to turn into anything, so it really is a bonus if he turns in anything. He kinda reminds me of Taylor Pyatt.

on the cycle
A Kenins Hows his skating anyone know? He's strong on his feet but could work on his speed and agility, however he is a pretty straight line guy who accelerates well but his top end speed could be better. Nuckin Kingsly
Wow, very surprised to see how well he's produced on the score sheet lately. Considering we took him in the sixth round as a defensive specialist... who knows how good this kid can get. Very excited to read what y'all have said about him being a 5 tool guy. canucklehead44
I thought he was a bit of a wasted pick at the time. Despite being a good defensive specialist with size, his complete lack of offense was alarming. Pretty much every defensive specialist in the NHL was able to score in junior. That said, it looks like he has progressed even further on the defensive side while putting up respectable goal totals. Based on his trajectory, he could probably score 25 next year and work his way up through the ranks. Could be a solid 4th liner for us down the road.
