Nuxfanabroad
Rekka Pinne crapped the bed, mere months back. Here's hoping he, PK & the gang start a long spiral downwards.
mll
It's Rinne's 36th birthday today.

Out of all the current contenders in the West, I'd say they have the best chance at staying competitive long term.
Guest
Preds look good to me... I don't see them trending down any time soon. The unfortunate thing for them is that the Jets look unstoppable in the playoffs.
cripplereh
one of the top goalies in the league, so great deal for them
HerrDrFunk
This is a great deal for the Predators. Saros has three years left on his current contract so they’ll know if he’s ready to take over as starter, or if they need to look outside the organization, by the time Rinne is done. PhillipBlunt
The Preds will have another flameout in the playoffs.
Drakrami
wow they are only paying him 5 million per year for all that hes done? What was his last contract? Compared to Lundqvist's contract or Fleury's contract there is no justification here.

Rinne is the only player on the Predators that has a trade clause.

I just don't know if another team will be able to repeat what Vegas did last year. Winnipeg's best chance to win is this year IMO, with Laine on his ELC at 950,000$/year. EP Phone Home
Good contract with the right timing of changing of the guard in net. Saros is a great up and coming goalie and Nashville is set in net for the next 3 years.
apollo
That's a huge hometown discount... I'm sure one team would pay him close to Carey Price money for 1 or 2 years. He must really want to win with Nashville. Total respect for a guy like that.
JeremyCuddles
This is why Nashville loves Rinne, what a sweet contract for them. 5mil per for Rinne is pretty low.
