The douche bag produced nothing, was -3 in 24 minutes, and had some of the worst underlying numbers on the Kings last night - and he's beaking about his team....

Leaders look in the mirror.

Laying blame for a poor performance on others is the sign of a player who is getting old, who never truly was a good teammate, and can no longer compete like he used to.  How many more years are on Doughty's contract?  I'd say he's an anchor.

I think the fan that converted his 8 to a $ said a lot....

Gaudette displayed some good instincts positioning himself at the right place at the right time to be a threat.

Most impressed by Miller. Cant believe he was a so called third liner before.

He wasn't. His point production always showed he was a 1st/2nd line player. Just posters crying about trading for him that tried to say he was a 3rd liner. He only played on the 3rd line in Tampa because of their crazy depth.

Amazing to think we have Roussel, Motte, Erickson, Baer, Goldobin, Macewen, Boucher, Ferlander, Brisebois, waiting in the wings, and Demko to give Marky some rest. Still think a little more creativity on offense is needed so Baer should be back up, but the message is clear.  No more pretty stuff even if the advanced stats say it is better.  Fore check and hit or you're gone.  We will worry about scoring later.  The Edmonton and Calgary results were somewhat unjust really.  Not saying we should have beaten Calgary but 3-0 did not reflect what happened on the ice that night.

Tanev from Quinn and Boeser was a stake right in the heart.  Such a Travis Green play.  Get the D up in the play, attack, pinch whenever you can, and challenge them at the blue line.  Edler went back to WIlie D days on the second LA goal.

Hutton played pretty well for LA.

Jay Beagle just won't let you sit him down.  He won some clutch PK face-offs when things could have started to go a little sideways.

loved seeing Dennis Kearns out there, one of my favourite Canucks d of all time.  Too bad Lindgren or Ohlund couldn't have been involved!

The organization did a really good job, but Trevor had to be there.  It's crazy that he wasn't.  The three Captains that led us to the Cup Final had to be there.  Whatever the issue is between Trevor and our owner is, our organization looks bad for him not being there.

Does anyone have the official excuse for Trevor not being there?
