His impact upon the music world was big, and he's been covered and cited as a musical influence many times. It's sad, but easier for me to accept than some of those we've lost much younger. You only needed to hear him sing a few words & knew, this must be a pretty decent bloke. Just the two of us(w/ sax man Washington) is one of them lifetime gems.
