    I honestly can't stand the "give me a puck, stick, whatever" signs at games. It's rude. It's become a thing but I really think we should be teaching our kids to appreciate the event without asking for items.

      Fully agree. I find it especially bad when adults make signs for their toddlers who will never remember the game when they’re older. Basically trying to get things through their young children.

    The Hockey Guy. A little pessimistic about this coming season. I think it's going to be interesting.

      The Hockey Guy is always harder on the Canucks than other teams, which can be very frustrating as a fan of his channel, but honestly I think he was pretty spot on with the season preview. It’s hard to say how good we actually are. We overachieved in 2020, and underachieved last season. Our forwards are good, but I do have a lot of questions about our blue line.

    Benning has wanted PK Subban in the past and was blocked by Bergevin. If the Devils want to land Dougie Hamilton they will want to create cap space and lighten their books. Van needs a heavy proven top 4 d men who can play an abrasive shutdown game to partner Hughes. This is your chance Benning to finally land PK Subban...

    Really think there is some fire to these Reinhart To Van rumors JB said he want's to be aggressive this offseason Reinhart wants to return to the west coast and JB has tried to get him before so obviously likes him as a player Would love to see the RW depth of Boeser Reinhart Podkolzin

    Can't wait to see who Benning buys out this off-season,

    Eriksson's saves $2 million
    Roussel's saves $1.26 million
    Beagle's (might not be worth) saves $800k
    Holtby saves $3.8 million(!!)
    Virtanen saves $2.5 million(!)

      Eriksson for sure has to be gone now that his contract isn’t buyout proof anymore. Virtanen’s likely gone, but that might be a termination. I’d buyout Holtby personally. Get a decent back up for cheap. Roussel it’d be just as cheap to bury him in the AHL. I don’t think Beagle/Ferland can be bought out with their injuries.

    If the rest of the NHL season is cancelled, how is draft order going to be determined? and wasn't this draft also postponed?.

      I imagine they'd do something similar to the 05 draft and have a lottery involving all teams with different odds depending on if you're in a playoff position or not.

    Who’s one prospect you’re really disappointed he never panned out? For me it’s Hunter Shinkaruk. Dude had sweet hands and was overall really good when he was drafted.

      Hunter Shinkaruk and Cole Cassels. I thought both of them were absolute steals in their draft. I legit thought Cassels would be an elite 3C for us, especially after he shut down McDavid in the playoffs.

    Michael Carcone is a puck hound, MacEwen uses his size to dominate the middle of the ice, Archibald is used for his checking prowess.

    What are everyone's thoughts on Jordan Weal? Is he worth signing or have you had enough of the NHL/AHL tweener projects? In fairness to him, he does have better numbers than any of the guys we've taken flyers on (albeit in a small sample size).
