To be fair he hasn't really gotten going in his time here after an injury. He's just gotten injured again. Last nights game was hopefully the start of a trend in his game.

Because schroeder is injury prone. He has also had multiple chances on this team but couldn't stick. Jensen also has more potential.

I'd give edler and a pick and a C level prospect for Domi Vrbata and a pick...but why would they give up on Domi for a divisional rival AND the Edler Smith issue.

Giving up on Domi is not the same as trading him for Edler. Edler is a very valuable player. There won't be any heat b/w Mike Smith and Edler. Forgot about PHO being in our division.

But would edler + get us Vrbata and Domi and or +? With Horvat and Domi's experience together it is highly intriguing and worth consideration as it would almost give us a full line next season. Domi Horvat Shinkaruk?

^^ Start by losing the negativity surrounding this team by the fairweather fans. I've seen a dominant team against some very skilled teams, the scoreboard doesn't always reflect the better team. In the long run they keep playing like they have been these last couple of games and I like their chances for competing for a Cup this season!

You know that depth scoring we're lacking? Reliable depth scoring? It's those guys we missed in the draft 4 and 5 years ago. Every team has one of those forwards, we dont.

Agreed with a lot of comments here. Our best time to win has passed and it's best for us to let the core get the job done to the best of their abilities. Trading future players and picks would be a mistake. It's time to wind down because full rebuilds don't work.

They need help on D in a bad way. Corrado has a hard shot (they are missing garrisons bomb). Cambelle would do wonders with a shot like corrado's. Corrado has also shown he can be responsible in his own end and make some crushing hits. Van needs a 3rd line center / need toughness. We have too many d to give corrado the spot he deserves seems pretty good for both teams. Which prospects were you thinking? Howden?

That top 15 draft pick would be more impressive next season. And don't count the rangers out yet. Nash is hurt and AV's system needs time to be implemented.

Who knows what that draft pick will be? Looks like NYR is starting to turn it around. Much rather keep Tanev, a guy who blocks everything and plays sound defense
