    I feel like drafting NCAA players is just as risky as drafting russians. They could sign with other teams/KHL.

    On the canucks website a few days ago, they had a poll asking

    Would u guys move Horvat or McCann for like a Top 4 D?

      McCann, not Horvat. McCann is skilled and will be a great player. But frankly, there is only so much room for young developing centers on an NHL team.

       

      Horvat, Granlund, McCann, and Vey are all kind of battling for 2 spots in the lineup. Granlund has shown the ability to play Wing, giving him some versatility, which Frankly, McCann needs to gain in order to get minutes on the NHL level. If not, he will struggle to get off the fourth or third line. I would love to keep him don't get me wrong, but if a good deal comes our way, you have to give to get.

      TBH tho I wouldn't be surprised if JB moves out Hansen and puts Sutter on the top line again.

    Is Hansen worth a 1st rounder? If so, I'd trade him instantly.

      until, the young guys can move up, our first line has to be the glue that holds the forwards together...just like edler and hamhuis on defense...we can't strip all the core guys off the team at once....

      He has a NTC and trading Tanev is much easier to do with a lower cap hit.

      This rumor is nonsense.

      Tanev doesn't look like he's being traded, so Benning is fine with the status quo.

      Dad's rumored hand-holding, ego-stroking, & coddling of Cody or meddling & pestering of the coaching staff or management may have gotten Cody's arse traded-out of VAN. Then his push for Cody's HUGE long-term contract may have sucked the ambition out of his son's game. Hodgson is either tanking like others for McDavid, a trade, or a coaching change.
