      His game fits in the east, not in the west.

      Garrison was still a solid d and would have been a huge upgrade on weber/sbisa/stanton.

      Yeah he's an upgrade on Weber/Sbisa/Stanton, but his role is to be a top 4 D-man and he fell to the 3rd pairing last season.

    What's clearly missing here is the lack of leadership on the Hitmen. He's got loads of skill, don't worry about him being undisciplined. Central scouting had this to say about Raffi Torres in his draft year "Raffi is a disciplined, hard forechecker with offensive touch." Torres was later drafted 5th overall and will go down as one of the least disciplined players in the league. Point is, his discipline in this WHL may not be reflective of his discipline in the NHL

    Hopefully Benning can play Baertschi in some NHL games or atleast give him some confidence for him to re-sign. One of the main reasons we got Baertschi for so little is because he was telling Burke he would bolt to the KHL if he didn't get more ice time. Plz Benning, re-sign the stud.
