the way i see it, we have 3 top six players and 11 bottom six players, plus the sedins. 

not knowing if pettersson, dahlen, gaudette, lind or gadjovich are ready for the nhl yet, management must ice the line up that gives the team the best chance to win next year.  

i doubt they base it on what the fans want.  i wouldn't.

Actually come to think of it... I wouldn't mind being a Jets fan right now. I absolutely hate big buff but there's so many other guys on that team I like. Paul Maurice is a super likable character too. The old boys club is just as against the Jets as they are to us. Jets will need to pull some magic but they can win the cup. Love that they're a Canadian team.

I'm rooting for Laurence Gillman to get the Carolina Hurricanes GM job. Shocked he doesn't have an NHL job right now. But my question is, if Gillman gets the GM job... Will Mike Gillis become an assistant GM to him? How weird would it be for Gillman and Gillis to run a team again... But in opposite roles? Seems like the Hurricanes are like the Canucks of 2008... They're a few bold moves away from being contenders. But the true test is -- Can Gillman draft?
