I'm surprised you didn't mention that Chris Cuthbert is filling in for Bob Miller today.

Is Miller typically better than Cuthbert? Those 2 people aren't in my scope right now to be honest. I'm sleepwalking and something shiny caught my eyes like a jingling set of car keys.

I tried finding a picture for reference, and failed. 

As a play-by-play guy, I prefer Cuthbert to Miller (they were both pretty good in their primes, you could argue that Chris is still in his).

In terms of how they dress, I can't say.

Pens, Isles, Canucks, Oilers, who knows? Honestly, I don't know how much of a fan of the league I'd be if that were the case. 

Fans in St Louis, Oakland, and San Diego must be sick right now.

Then the NHL would be a joke like the NFL is if that were to happen. Nothing against football, it's entertaining af. BUT it's outdated and clearly too dangerous for us humans. Head on collisions are the worst type of collision. And yet it's their job to bang heads every play. When will the world learn? Football is basically modern day gladiators. We might as well give them swords since they already have the battle gear.

I'd watch NFL with swords. 

I like NFL just fine, but the league definitely has its faults, and alienating fans in search of profits is a big one. They're hands down better at that than Bettman. 

But, it's interesting to wonder about what happens if the NHL continues to grow and eventually challenge NFL for loyalty [profits] would owners be afforded the same BS leeway? 

Even though there is a correlation, profits > fans.

Truth: I didn't know about computer stuff, when my wife got me an iPad.  I started playing and found my favourite team's site, and figured to sign up.  I used my real name to sign up, not knowing we weren't supposed to do that on computers.  I thought some of my ex teammates would find it funny I was still alive, so I added the "lives" bit to my name.

I never really saw the TV show; I'm a bit too old for 80's TV.  Then things kind of just morphed into the character from the 

TV show, which is actually a lot of fun:)  

totally agree sh.. play for sure  I will admit I have a mancrush on Hoffman as i have him on my fanatasy tea.  still no excuse whatsoever to follow through like that but there has to be a line drawn for this game. It got nasty ! the refs effed up huge and should have shut that sh.. down in the first.

Horrible officiating once again turns what could have been an ole fashioned barn burner into a gong show.

The game is so fast it's difficult to come up with a solution. How the slash/spear on Karlsson wasn't even a 2 minute minor is beyond me. The ref was farther away than the Eriksson headshot, but he was still looking right at the whole damn play.

For starters, my Christmas wish is for the league to pull its head right out of its ass. 

I would pay to see that on center ice !   

Vice does some great stuff. I think for us Canadians this was always a 'when' issue as opposed to an 'if' one. The Americans beat us to the punch and now we feel politically allowed to expedite the process. 

With COL doing so well with their legalization of it, I think in a lot of ways it will make things much easier.  Trudeau explicitly says that looking at their model is a great way of going about getting it systematically sorted out.  

I don/t smoke as much anymore if any but those times i want to have a puff will be good especially if i can drive to a store and buy some.

Just Youtube as far as I know. There are about 40 episodes thereabouts.

Awesome movies.  I know them all very well.  Miracle on 34th street could be the best of the bunch.  Always liked White Christmas too.

Sorry it's not a Youtube video that I can easily embed. I'm skeptical of some of this story, but it nonetheless raises re-asks important questions ahead of next April's supposed legalization day.

The gist is that a journalist bought weed from shops in TO and sent it to the lab. THC levels were up to %30, and CBD levels were at or around nil. 

^ Point being that it is being cultivated out of the strains available for some reason. People focus on THC content and are ignoring the potential benefits of CBD as a result.

The forwards isn't the best but you can get a solid d core.

The choices for each team aren't exactly accurate, ie Burrows available to protect when he's UFA. It gives a decent idea though. Some teams really are going to lose a decent player. Will be interesting to see what kind of shape it takes as far as an overall team.

And I agree with Wellwood, I think we protect Granlund, but a lot can change over the next several months.

It will be interesting to see which goalies are made available. Will Florida use their spot on Lu, and if Vegas takes a chance on him when does he retire?

Going to be the most interesting off season in a long time.

@MJDDawg Lateral meniscus. Timeline depends on exactly how bad it was, but he requires surgery and typically 3-4 months is best best case scenario, more likely is 4-6.

@Roger Neilson's Towel I wouldn't go so far as to call him fragile yet. Broken leg and blood clots made up 2 of his 3 serious injuries and could have happened to anyone. This though, bad luck? Something else?
