  1. That's what I was thinking as I was catching up. What if both AV and Ceres are both mafia and are pitting MR against each other so that one of the two gets accepted as TP afterwards. The questions becomes, is MR mafia or TP. I agree that if AV is mafia, MR is likely TP.
  2. My assignment has been pushed back a week. I know, I know, say what you will about excuses. I didn't expect the due date to be pushed back either. I actually didn't know that I needed a real vote. I don't even know when next night fall is. Now I've gotta catch up.
  3. I can't clear these quote boxes on mobile. I just want to say that I'll be MIA until Tuesday afternoon because of an assignment I've had a month to do but haven't started yet. I'll vote extend
  4. I think this is all the players' first contribution to the mechanics discussion up to page 15 when it kinda slowed down. Likely that there is a mafia from earlier on in the discussion. I'm not sure about players like otherwise who brought their first mention later (but that may have been one of otherwise's first posts of the game)
  5. And then Chris posts 3 times while I'm writing my post.
  6. I don't blame you. I've watch up to the end of season 12 and the 2 part finale was not good. But could have been better with just one or two different decisions. I'm liking Zfetch and Ceres. I don't think I've seen one post by Kurisu (who I will be referring to as Chris at least some of the time). I doubt that all of the players involved in the early discussion about game mechanics are TP, since it'd be a really nice opportunity for a mafia member to post and seem active, provided their careful about being TMI. Also, a more nooby player isn't likely to try that so I'd think any newish players who entered the game mechanics discussion is more likely TP (I don't know if this actually applies to anybody). My classes are still going on, delivered online, for another 2 weeks, so if I'm inactive then, you know, too bad. I"m going to go back and see who posted about game mechanics and in what initial order.
  7. I assumed Patient Zero was Kingpin. But maybe re-naming standard roles is too vanilla for this. @Time LordDo you still watch Doctor Who?
  8. Ok I've been town before and wondered how mafia mechanics worked that game cause I was curious and it could be useful to know. I'm wondering how Ceres knows anything. Also not great that he wants everyone's opinions. That'd be alot of useless fluff easy to hide mafia in
  9. So do players e-sign the contracts now that the borders are closed?
  10. Rumours started by people like Dhaliwal and his colleagues
  11. Elliotte Friedman reported this last night. and then from r/hockey: Pierre LeBrun: "The NHL’s first positive test for a player." Brent Wallace: "The #Sens played in San Jose on Mar 7. It was a hotspot at the time and County officals recommended against large crowds. The Sens spent 6 days in California with a full day off on Mar.8 to travel around." Chris Johnston: One thing worth considering here: Ottawa played in San Jose on March 7 -- one of the three games at SAP Center held after officials in Santa Clara County recommended against holding large-gathering events. Chris Johnston: "The #sens also played at Staples Center on March 11 -- one day after the Brooklyn Nets were there to face the Lakers. Brooklyn now has four confirmed cases of COVID-19." In response to whether TSN reporters needed testing, Brent Wallace: "Not sure. Some of us where around during that trip but I think it was limited involvement. We I’ll have to wait to see who it is." Murray Pam: "Believe the Senators would've used the same dressing room as the Nets." From the Athletic: Senators player becomes first NHLer to test positive for COVID-19 with a worrying quote: "It is believed that multiple Senators players are ill and awaiting test results to determine how many been infected."
  12. Not the same draft class, but look up all of Ozzy Wiesblatt's brothers (and 1 sister) Brothers: Ocean, Orca and Oasiz Sister: Oceania All 4 brothers play hockey spread out among NCAA, WHL, and Bantam https://www.thestar.com/calgary/2018/07/23/hockey-moms-deafness-pushed-her-boys-to-be-better.html
  13. Anyone remember a Nucks goal where they take consecutive slapshots from the point and on the 3rd attempt it goes in? Each missed shot found its way back to the point almost immediately. I can't find it anymore.

Ah, I vaguely remember this game.  Hornqvist and Holmstrom have been more in the crease than MayRay "was" in that one (he wasn't really even close).

      oops double post

  14. House MD still totally holds up as a great show. Very rarely do the jokes seem aged
  15. So they're doing it so they don't forget later?
  16. It could also be to Makar's detriment that he wasn't able to stay healthy enough to play more games. Though I'm not sure if he missed enough games for that to be on people's minds
  17. I think Tiffoli is more important than Tanev. Tanev is a warrior but he's on the wrong side of 30, is frequently injured, and doesn't provide much offense anymore. He'd still be expensive and we need the roster spot for Rafferty, Tryamkin, Rathbone, etc.
  18. Assuming the season is outright done and no playoffs or Stanley Cup is awarded for 2020, then I think the easiest, most likely, and dumbest thing is for the league to make the ruling that we didn't make the playoffs in 2020 (since there was no playoffs) so New Jersey (via Tampa) will get our 2021 first. I hope that they extend the timing on the trade to be for 2021 and 2022 but since I don't believe the league extended contracts a year when the 2004-05 lockout happened, they likely won't do that here.
  19. They have tie breaker rules in place for during the season that work while games are uneven, with the guarantee that eventually the games would all be even at 82. With no guarantee that they can finish the regular season, those tiebreaker rules should not be used to determine final standings since games won't equal out.
  20. How long until the AHL postpones the season too?
  21. I just need to know that the playoffs that may or may not happen later will use points percentage rather than then current standings.
  22. What happens to our 2020 first round pick? We're not currently in a playoff spot, so we keep the pick and give up 2021? Or will the league look at a points/game played standings since teams have played different numbers of games?
  23. Because we know how the flu works and it's generally not serious. If people refuse to get vaccinated and spread still happens, we even have medication for it. COVID19 is still largely a mystery. No vaccine. Supportive treatment only. Being over cautious to keep it as contained as we can is all we can do.
