I find being Alf's wingman is the ideal partner.  Pretty much all the ladies run away from Alf to my waiting arms when he approaches them.  And you don't want to know about the ones that are attracted to him.

i remember watching those like monsanto docs on netflix a while back and they covered the chicken industry, and that was pretty bad, but that video is stomach churning and that definitely wasnt shown in those docs

Unless Im mistaken, almost all the male chicks get ‘culled’ as they only need a few to fertilize the eggs...and they obviously don’t themselves lay eggs.  There are humane ways to deal with them but unfortunately greed I suspect gets in the way and this is cheapest option.

the guys are not playing that bad , we all knew this was  going to be a tough rebuilding few years.  yes they are making some mistakes, but those mistakes will work themselves out. keep watching and you will see!!!

There is always something to cheer for, even in a loss.  I really like watching EP stick handle and Bo use his size to protect the puck.  Then there is Boeser's shot, and Jake's blazing speed.  Pick out smaller things to focus on, and not (so much) the score.  

i asked a close friend of mine, who's a canucks and leafs fan, her take on the gardiner stuff and this was her perspective:

"****in embarrassing. I remember a couple years ago when Edler was at rock bottom and he never got booed. The team did but not one single guy"

and thats a pretty good point. people **** on canucks fans all the time but i dont believe we ever booed one single guy on the team out of the building. maybe we did at some point in history, but not as long as ive been watching. i vaguely remember fans ****ing on messier when he was here, but that was pretty justified

^ Other than the chants of "Fire Gillis", that's about a specific as it got (with respect to booing Canucks).

i'd say fire gillis was justified, even looking at it today with 20/20 hindsight xD

Sadly this is very likely true.  I would say that all the US markets would be favored by the league.  We foolish Canadians will spend our hard earned dollars supporting out teams regardless of how bad our team is.  The US fans, for the most part, only support their teams when they are winning.  Why do you think the Devils, the Rangers, and the Hawks all moved up in the draft lottery?  We need to remember the league is a business, where the owners share profits.  

Edmonton won McDavid so I don't think the lottery plays any role. I just think those two teams in particular seem to get away with a lot in terms of discipline.
