Pretty poor officiating with less than 2 minutes left when that Detroit player was penalized with hands to the face of the GB player.  Replays clearly show it was hands to shoulder and not the head.  So GB got first down and ran down the clock before kicking winning FG.

Second bad call against said player.  I don't even know what the solution is at this stage; replay has made the PI issues even worse.

Well, when they don't follow their own guidelines on PI replays, what can you do?  Utter garbage.

Sucks for the Lions.  Might've still lost, but they should have had the chance at a comeback.

Cracked me up how so shortly after bemoaning how the Lions got screwed that the announcers were praising Crosby for the well deserved win.  :picard:

i Dont think their Oline is that bad, not better than last seasons but still decent. Its just the 49ers Dline is freaking incredible. They have 3 top 10 1st rounders on that line ( Bosa, Thomas, and Buckner) and a Pro Bowler in Dee Ford. Lynch has assembled an awesome defense and that D-line is going to be great for YEARS to come. Im almost thinking they built that line to stop Russell Wilson

Feel bad for Trey Flowers. 2 flags on him that cost his team the game that weren’t even penalties.

I didn't see the game, but heard about it on ESPN radio this morning.  One penalty okay, but the second one was clearly a very bad call.  The guys on the radio were saying it appears there are a lot of penalties, and ones that are effecting game results.

Detroit is not in that spot to lose if they score touchdowns though, instead of settling for field goals.

hahaha. The only thing in SF that will be stopping Russ is the playing surface. Poor grass conditions scare me

The Rams are shipping starting cornerback Marcus Peters to the Ravens in exchange for linebacker Kenny Young, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Tuesday afternoon.

Rob Parker of Fox Sports first reported the trade. The Rams later confirmed the transaction, which included an undisclosed 2020 draft pick sent to L.A.

Peters started every game so far this season just as he started every game last year as the Rams marched to a Super Bowl appearance.

News of the Peters-Young swap came shortly after the Browns announced they had traded center Austin Corbett, a 2018 second-round pick, to the Rams in return for a 2021 fifth-round draft pick.

Peters' departure comes after the Rams fell to 3-3 with a third-straight loss on Sunday. The loss came without cornerback Aqib Talib, who has been placed on injured reserve with a ribs injury. So, the Rams' starting defensive backfield is now expected to be safeties John Johnson, who is dealing with a shoulder issue, and Eric Weddle and cornerbacks Nickell Robey-Coleman and Troy Hill.

Peters, a one-time All-Pro during a three-season stay in Kansas City, has now been dealt twice as he came to the Rams via trade, as well. In their trip to the Super Bowl, the Rams boasted a formidable defensive backfield of Peters, Talib, Johnson and Lamarcus Joyner. Two are now playing elsewhere, Talib is on IR and Johnson is all that's left.

Peters will likely be looked at to start immediately in place of the injured Jimmy Smith opposite of Marlon Humphrey.

Like Peters, Young, who's started three games for the Ravens, is probably going to step in quickly as the Rams' linebacking corps saw Micah Kiser injured in the preseason and Clay Matthews sustain a broken jaw in Week 5 against the Seahawks.

As for Corbett, he has played in three games in 2019, and over two underwhelming years in Cleveland has started just once in 14 appearances. He'll go from one questionable offensive line to another.

A reeling Rams team has made for an eventual Tuesday afternoon with a couple of AFC North counterparts.

Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Zach Brown put his money where his mouth was prior to Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings and it may have cost him his job.

Brown called quarterback Kirk Cousins “probably the weakest part” of the Vikings offense in the days leading up to their game. Cousins, in turn, lit the Eagles defense up for 333 passing yards and 4 touchdowns in the 38-20 win.

Brown had 5 total tackles and 1 tackle for a loss. Brown didn’t answer questions about Cousins after the game, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.

“I’m here to talk about the game. Any other questions, besides about Kirk Cousins?” Brown said. “He did a great job today. He played good, you know? Hats off to him.”

But it wasn’t enough for the Eagles to keep him. It wasn't clear whether the trash-talking was part of the reason why Brown was released.

He's right though.

Eric DeCosta has done a great job since taking over for Ozzie Newsome. Acquiring a upper tier corner for a 4th round LB who can't even get on the field is robbery.

Hoping Peters is ready for Seattle this Sunday.

@ReggieBush Lamar vs Russ!!

Peters is so boom or bust though. He got exploited by Wilson so easily because he jumps routes all the time so they just ran the same routes at him with different wrinkles in it
