Monty
It Stains the Sands Red Independent, “B” zombie movie made a few years ago. Premise is a woman is trying to get to an airstrip in Nevada. She has to walk through the desert as her car broke down. Has to walk 30 miles while slowly being chased by a zombie. It’s not very good. But not the worst thing I’ve seen, either. Standard “B” level movie.

Violator
Overlord 6/10 Rumored it was supposed to be a prequel/same universe as cloverfield.Ended up being a band of brothers/inglorious bastards wolfenstein type of movie it was ok some of the characters were not likeable and made bad decisions. WilliG
Still Alice. First "serious" film I've watched in ages. I should probably do it more often.

falcon45ca
Once Upon a Tim in Hollywood: 8/10 Super fun story, with some great scenes that will rank right up there with Tarantino's best. If you're a Tarantino fan, def check it out.

Monty
Bad Times at the El Royale Same writer and director as The Cabin in the Woods. This is not good. While a completely, completely different movie, this reminded me a lot of Smokin’ Aces. In that, it was trying to be a lot more clever than it really was. Both had interesting concepts, both failed miserably in their delivery. Skip.

It failed miserably on what promise was there. The idea of a series of events at a hotel is good, but the characters were ultimately what made the story fall on its face.
GLASSJAW
great hack: 7.5/10 enjoyed this netflix doc about data, cambridge analytica etc. informative, but the cast of characters was kind of irritating
Monty
Brightburn I want you to close your eyes and imagine a movie about what a 12 year old Superman would be like if he became evil. Now, open your eyes. Whatever you imagined was infinitely better than this dogsh*t of a film.
falcon45ca
Detective Pickachu - 7/10 If you've got kids it's a pretty fun watch, some def chuckles for adults in the film. Also, if you're a Pokemon fan in general it's worth a watch.

Watched it last night (Netflix), and was blown away. GLASSJAW
once upon a time in hollywood: 9.5/10 god I loved this movie - really difficult to find complaints. the writing was top notch and Tarantino-y without being too Tarantino-y, thought the build up towards the end was wonderful. even though I'm a well-documented Leo hater, I thought he was great in this. Pitt was juicy to the core. the feet shots made me laugh. will have to give it a second watch, but after one watch I think I'd slide it into my top 2 or 3 of his.
