Bodee
One of the best games I've watched and still playing. I think they think the playoffs have started early. But is it wise? I can't see both teams coming out of this without some injuries. Backes is a monster out there. I hope we pick him up some time. 14 mins to go in 2nd. spliced
I agree it's been a good game. The Blues physical play is the reason I'm hoping the Canucks can avoid them in the playoffs.
AriGold
This game has been unreal, it's nice to watch a real good solid old style hockey game. Refs for the most part have put the whistles away and letting them play. The action has been ridiculous..
xWCMx
Im so glad I turned this game on. I was only able to catch the first period but holy crap was it exciting! They look like they're playing for the cup out there.
DIBdaQUIB
So refreshing to see teams play with passion and energy. I've been watchign too much Nucks hockey of late and forgot what that looks like.
Bodee
Things have calmed down a bit now but no way could they keep that pace and physicality going for the whole game. I don't believe in switch on come the playoffs..........I said that last season and now I know better. Therefore I hope we start putting our game together soon. We have some pretty tough games/teams coming up and quite honestly although I would like us to play as physical as these two teams I don't want us to incur any other injuries. We have as much speed as the Hawks have and so I don't think we should be afraid of a team like Chicago. That said could you imagine a best of 7 against the Blues? End of 2nd Chicago up 1-
Ghostsof1915
Not to sound defeatist, but I have a hard time envisioning the Canucks beating either of these two teams in the playoffs. Unless it's St. Louis and we score early and often.

LeanBeef
It's scary how much Stewart reminds me of Bertuzzi, hopefully Kassian will end up doing the same
TOMapleLaughs
Both Chicago and StL have superior advanced stats. Either team is beatable, but it's going to require physical play, which isn't exactly our strength. This is why we needed to do something other than get Roy. Edinburgh Capitals
Can't see the Canucks beating either of these teams but I don't think anyone predicted that LA would win the cup last year so you never know.

The Brahma Bull
I don't want to play the Blues. They are a very physical team. Some of our players will be injured if we have to face them. I'd love to play the hawks though. Playing the hawks is probably the only thing that will wake up Bieksa and Edler.

Master Mind
I actually didn't think it was that great. Refs ruined it by putting the whistles away, and half the actual penalties were much weaker than some of the ones they let go.
Down by the River
David Backes- 221 lbs Chris Stewart- 231 lbs Patrick Berglund- 217 lbs Vladamir Tarasenko- 219 lbs Alexander Steen- 212 Size AND Skill. Deadly group of forwards. Throw in Oshie and Perron and the Blues are a very dangerous team up front.
D-Money
Blues looked awesome last year too - mostly due to Elliot standing on his head (which he is now doing again). ...and then the playoffs started.
