Ilya Mikheyev
Why did Jordan's numbers fall so much in the playoffs? Because the going got tough and he's too small? Or a different reason?
ButterBean
How can you guys hate on this pick? From what I've read he's very mobile and very good offensively, something our D lacks right now. Not only that but he has an older brother who has gone through the process of becoming a great NHL defenseman which will only help him. Also take it for what it's worth but Subban said he'll be better than him. Once he bulks up a bit and polishes his defensive game he should become a solid pick for where we got him. Down by the River
Can't believe the whining about a fourth round pick. news flash: you can find something wrong with every fourth round puck...thats why they are picked in the fourth round.
diesel_3
Watch hockey much? We never had Pavel's brother here.
The Colt 45s
Let's hope he is not not like other brothers we tried ( bure and Kariya)
ilduce39
Good pedigree and lots of time to grow an inch or two... the best part? We could really use a PP specialist with speed and vision to lug the puck and this kid sounds like he has all the tools to do that.

Tk-424
Quiz: how many 5'9" defenders are in the NHL? Why not just give the pick to someone who can use it? Oh, Utica can use it cuz it won't ever be in the NHL. To quote Pink's Blow me ' Mike your having a crap day"

DeNiro
It's the one reason why 30 GMs passed on him 3 times, and 23 passed on him 4 times. It's a perfectly realistic and understandable worry. And knowing his position, and his size is 'something', not 'nothing' about the player.
Ilya Mikheyev
Because things tighten up significantly in the playoffs. Players aren't having 2 and 3 point games at the rate they do in the regular season. Especially D-men. The fact that the Bulls made it to game 7 of the Eastern Finals with Subban as their top D-man says that he played pretty good.

Ilya Mikheyev
And if he was 3 inches taller would have likely been a 1st or early 2nd round pick. If he has a growth spurt, there's no more issues with him. Passing on a player simply because of his size is a mistake.
