Keslerific
Wow, good trade for Edmonton, definitely an upgrade over Magnus Paajarvi. Their top 6 is good to go now and they just solidified it with that one move. Now they need better D & goaltending.
rampage
Doesn't matter if they are soft if they can fly by you and score 3 goals a game
theo5789
So they trade away Perron for crapty Paajarvi so they can have Roy instead. LOL at that
Phamda
The main difference between our skilled top 6 and Edmonton skilled top 6 is Burrows and Kesler. 2 guys who are willing to drive the net and can be great shutdown guys in top 6 roles. Oilers don't have that in anyone in their top 6.
JE14
Like how our size in the top 6 has gotten us so far these past couple of years right?

CanucksSayEh
If Booth and Kassian step up, then our top 6 is pretty sizable. Will they score? well, thats another story.
Plum
Pretty good deal for the Oilers, they don't need a 2nd with all the youth they have in their lineup. Perron will help their top 9. Hall-RNH-Eberle Perron-Gagner-Yakupov Jones-____-Hemsky Wow that is a pretty small but skilled top 6. In future years how will they afford that? Frazzy Desjardins
Coilers should go after Brendan Morrow. Grit, toughness, leadership. A great veteran prescience and role model for their young forwards. You guys are overrating them, i bet they still dont make the playoffs.

Avicii
Perron has concussion problems. RNH has shoulder problems. Yakupov is gonna get traded for defense.. Most likely. Hall and Eberle aren't as good as people think they are. Seriously inconsistent.. Eberle had like 5 goals this year.

Alex Burrows 14
Their defense and goaltending isn't that bad. Its decent. They need a few pieces but overall they're decent
Langdon Algur
Not a fan of this trade for the Blues, with there awesome defence core they have an opportunity to win it all now but getting rid of one there best forwards is not going to help. MPS still has potential to be a very good player but in the immediate future Perron is the better player. I guess cap space forced the Blues to make this trade. Dogbyte
Canucks aren't exactly a big team. Look at teams like LA and Boston with two of the past three cups and making the final 4 again. "Physical team". Whatever you say. Message me back when Edmonton fails to get past the first round.

TOMapleLaughs
Cap move by StL. Perron's a better player at the moment, but it should be interesting to see if that 'vast, untapped MPS potential' Edmonton's fans have been telling us about for years is finally realized on a better team. Perron scored just one more goal last season. I think StL did quite well on the trade considering their circumstances. Edmonton could've done better by just signing a similar UFA, but it was quite obvious Magnus wanted out.
tealfepels
at least Edmonton is a soft team too. it'll help facing them once in a while to take the pain away from teams that can actually play and play tough (la, san jose, anaheim, etc)
