VegasCanuck
Can we get the poll refreshed now with just all options for GM? We know how team President played out!
SuperSakic
Jim Benning- from Boston McNabb- from Anaheim Paul Fenton- from Nashville Ron Hextall - from LA in the order of preference; I think trevor should be looking at these guys for top GM candidates and hopefully retaining gilman as assistant GM. most these guys have winning track records, cups for hextall, mcnabb, and benning have been mentored well and know what it takes. and most importantly can draft well (fenton, mcnabb and especially benning) our drafting history has sucked (can argue over that) but its been less then subpar. Moustachio
I'd like to see Jim Benning as our GM, but I wouldn't be unhappy if Gilman got the nod. There seems to be a few options out there with decent upside... I'm rather excited to see who Linden picks!

Herberts Vasiljevs
I'm glad to hear that Linden wants to pick somebody who is an assistant GM or has had experience as a GM. Sigh of relief for me. Briesbois, Fenton, Benning and Boterill are names that come to mind.

Alexandre
President: Trevor Linden GM: Joe Will AGM: Laurence Gilman Coach: John Stevens Trevor Linden already chosen. Joe Will is AGM for the Sharks and his fingerprints are all over their excellent drafting and acquisition of undervalued players. A money ball type manager. Laurence GIlman as the capologist and to preserve some continuity with the Gillis era. John Stevens for his good coaching record with the Flyers and excellent work with the PK for the Kings. Phil_314
Who's this Jim Benning character? I'd want someone like Jarmo Kekalainen in CBJ or Jim Nill in Dallas, guys who have vision and will make the right moves to construct this team. Is this Benning fellow the guy? What has he achieved? Also, good luck Trevor Linden, hope his reputation won't go down with the team if it doesn't perform well in the future.
