First of all, the reports never said he was going to sign last night, only that the reports were coming in last night. And it's one of the teams in Canada which most UFA's stay away from. I say our chances are next to zero if he decides to go UFA. Canucks would have just as much a chance to sign Demko as UFA as would the Oilers. I don't think I need to remind you but I will, Canadian teams are on top of the NTC list for NHL players, most of these NHL players are Canadian who don't want to play in their own country, why would American UFA's want to come here, especially the ones that are highly sought after.
