Obviously he was going to win that accuracy contest and of course he broke one of the targets.  Next year I hope they introduce the hardest wrist shot as well as hardest slapper.

I would actually be really interested to see how wrist shots can compare.

HAHAHA  "I'm super excited"...

This kid could do the accuracy shooting with a cigarette in his mouth

I loved his monotone and stone faced 'excitement'!

'Congrats Brock, here's one of the world's ugliest appliances cars!'

'Thanks, I think I'll give that to my sister  '

Meanwhile, the only award Barzal has won so far is one 'Second Star of the Week'. Boeser has an edge there thus far.

I'm betting Barzal will be the Rookie of January though.

good one.

But really I'm blown away by the guys performance. TSN had a headline that McDavid 'stole the show' with his fastest skater showing....

If the scouting focus wasn't on Brock already it sure will be now. It will be interesting to see how he handles the added pressure and match-ups.

I think many noticed (those I watched with) how in position he was and how Johnny Hockey seemed to be incapable of passing it to him.   The kid (Boeser) seems to have instinct on where to be at the right time.   Even the shooting drill that rattled seasoned veterans, he instead seemed to have a plan on where to put the pucks and it paid off.   Maybe one of the most intelligent hockey minds Canucks have had in their midst in a very long while.

The Ayatollah currently sits 423rd in all time NHL scoring by an American born athlete. He'll surely crush Hull's 1391 and Modano's 1374 and retire as the greatest american born NHLer ever. These will be facts, not my opinion.

If you're asking for my opinion, he's already the greatest athlete in the history of sports. I've seen enough! :towel:

He's also 12th all time in US scoring points per game and even more impressive... he's doing this all on a weak team, against the #1 d matchups...

Brock is 3rd all time US in goals per game... ahead of peasant Matthews, Rapist Kane, Parise, Patches, Kessel ....

I'm hoping the better matchup attention he's going to get for the rest of the year helps him overcome a sophomore slump. Usually guys don't get this much attention in their 1st season.

The debates over whether Brock and EP should be on the same line should be epic.
