BanTSN
Good move. He provides some stability for the Comets and is callup-quality.
awalk
Awesome, we are so lucky to see so much room being made for our waiver eligible prospects and rookies next seaso....oh wait How is a depth signing for Utica blocking our young players? Bieksa and Kassian were moved so that 19-21 year olds could actually slot into the lineup this year and next. It's what we are asking for

awalk
you're sure he's just ahl depth? I'm not 11 career NHL games? Yeah, I'm pretty sure he's going straight to Utica and will be a call up option.

TheRussianRocket.
Fedun is a mobile, quick-skating defenseman. Has good hockey sense and a sound positional game. Could add some weight to better handle bigger forwards. - Erik K. Pi (2012) AHL stats: 200GP, 99 Points AJHL stats: 111GP, 75 Points AMBHL stats: 31GP, 37 Points AMHL stats: 37GP, 20 Points NCAA stats: 128GP, 68 Points Telus Cup stats: 5GP, 4 Points NHL stats: 11GP, 6 Points ...don't care what anyone says, this is a great pickup. Whichever league Fedun has played, he's been a 0.5p/g player and that's pretty exceptional and really impressive. Seems like a guy who just hasn't been given a shot at the NHL but has proved himself in all the leagues. Played. Handful of games in the NHL (11) and again, he's 0.5+p/g. Not to mention he has a solid frame and tallies a ton of PIMs. Also has won a lot awards and trophies throughout his career. 27 years old, once injuries occur and he's called up, may just take everyone by surprise. Could very well be a Nick Holden type but stats show he has the potential to be much better offensively than him. Really like this signing. Low risk depth pickup with tons of possible potential. LaBamba
This kid has character. He is battling back from what most thought was a career ending injury. You know he is hungry, and ready to complete his journey. My fav signing without a doubt.
BeefcakeBo
This is a pretty great depth signing. Low risk, high reward opportunity. I like it. Like Benning said about it in his interview today too, with the amount of injuries on defense last season it's always good to have more depth options. CRAZY_4_NAZZY
Love Taylor Fedun. Great story about absolutely shattering his femur in a game and yet comes back. Definitely character is this guy. Will add some solid depth and experience on the backend for Utica. He is definitely one guy I wouldn't hesitate to call up for a recall if there are injuries. Low maintenance and solid guy. Canucks definitely making sure they have legitimate pieces if injuries are a problem again next season.
Bertburelinden
Already in Utica: Ehrhardt Negrin Huskins Pedan Biega Blain Coming to Utica next year: Subban McEneny Hutton Sautner So again, why this signing? Some of those guys will be playing in the ECHL next season
R3aL
Solid signing, I think he has upside too since he has recovered from his injury, worst case scenario he is a solid AHL performer..
